Boehm Gallery Student Exhibition

It's time again for our student exhibition. This semester I have been working with the 4x5 camera and one of my images that I shot of the Umpqua Bridge in Reedsport, Oregon, was selected to be a part of the student exhibition on the Boehm Gallery. It was selected by my classmates and my professor. :) I have really enjoyed photographing with the larger format, I love how detailed the images are and how large I can print. I have learned how to focus the image on the ground glass fairly well and most of my images are very sharp. Coming from another school and having taken and attempted to retake the 4x5 class, I had lost all confidence in using the camera, but I have worked very hard to break that mindset and have been very successful. I thank my professor for helping me understand the ways of the 4x5.
